At the end of the day, a ship is a ship is a ship. Some cruise lines pay a bit more, others pay a bit less. Every ship is so uncannily similar you would barely notice the difference anyway. Everyone parties onboard and everyone loves it. While I could link to every cruise line out there, I chose not too because if you really want this job, then you have to do some of the footwork too. These are just the most popular lines and it is a great place to start out.
Norwegian Cruise Line - I spent three years working onboard for NCL. Good company.
Carnival Cruise Line - The Wal-Mart of the Seas. Cheaper passengers, but a real party ship.
Royal Caribbean - Good News: operates biggest ships in the industry and worldwide itineraries. Bad News: Very corporate.
Holland America Cruise Line - You'll find a lot of geezers onboard these ships, but the itineraries are some of the industries best
Steiner - Steiner hires and trains the staff who work onboard cruise lines Spa and Fitness Centers.
You will find positions for front of house (performers) and back of house. This is worth a look as I am often surprised at the wide variety of BOH positions available.
Universoul Circus - Based out of Atlanta Georgia, they work around the USA
Feld Entertainment - Feld has many shows that they hire staff for various live shows. Shows travel all over the USA
Circus Royale - Australia Circus, hiring performers and staff for their touring season down under
Being location independent you can live anywhere in the world. This includes writers, bloggers, and website programmers. Depending on where in the world you're traveling, you could get by on earning very little.
