How to Day Trade While You Travel

Being location independent, all you need is a computer and internet

From Marcello, at Wandering Trader

There are many different techniques that you can use to start day trading. In order to find the best method it is highly encouraged to educate yourself on different avenues including; penny stocks, regular stocks, futures, options, and forex.

There are also different markets to consider as well. While the majority of day traders are involved in the U.S markets many traders also participate in the European stock market with significantly less participation in Asia.

There are also different kinds of day traders as well. Swing traders generally hold positions for longer periods of time (days and weeks) while other traders may only be in the market for a minutes and even seconds.

The best places to obtain information are book stores where you can read unbiased information where no one is trying to sell you anything. If you do decide to start your research on the web, try Investopedia and Investimonials.

Investopedia - General information of trading

Investimonials
- provides reviews of most finance companies and day trading schools

It's extremely important to identify what you feel comfortable with and what you can afford. Once you have decided what avenue you want to take you can start looking for a strategy to use.

You can develop your own strategy, buy a trading system, or even consider trading software. Make sure that you do your due diligence because there is a lot of garbage on the internet. Many sites have only been optimized to get the best search results rather than give good information which is why you should read books on day trading rather than googling information.

I use the two most popular platforms for my trading; Tradestation and the Ninja Trader . The main difference between the two is that you are able to trade free with Ninja Trade until you are ready to open an account and trade live.

One of the things about day trading is that there are so many different avenues with which to learn from. Thus, to take any beginners day trading book would be a great start to day trading.

We currently are working on a free ebook to get started on day trading. Be sure to check back with Travel Droppings for the latest updates on how you can download this eBook. Until then, you should consider one of these Day Trading Books from Amazon.com

Day trading can be tremendously lucrative but at the same time very catastrophic. It's not a get rich quick scheme where you can pick it up overnight. There is significant skill development and practice that comes with it. If you're not serious about becoming a day trader then you should look into another work and travel opportunity.

What it's like to travel as a day trader. Brought to you by Marcello, of Wandering Trader.
