Use Travel Droppings to promote your travel writing and photography

Travel Droppings is currently accepting photos and writing from your (mis)adventures around the world. If you write for fun or are seeking a career as a travel writer or photographer you can submit content and have it published on Travel Droppings.

What are we looking for?

We are currently accepting stories with accompanying photographs from your travels throughout the world.

Our content fits three main categories: Working, Traveling and Exploring the world. You can use any of our content as a guide to what we are seeking.

Ideal submissions include 500-1200 words and quality photographs to help tell the story. Preference is given to stories that include an element of working or volunteering abroad. We also are seeking photo essays from around the world, but specifically South America and Asia.

Who can submit writing and photography?

Submissions are open to anyone who has an interesting or humorous story to share from their travels either domestically or abroad. Whether they traveled on a budget or with deep pockets, you should also offer insight into how you work and travel. You can be from any country as long as you write in English. Ultimately, we will publish it so long as it doesn't suck.

What do you get in return?

In getting published you can use the opportunity to promote your travel site, blog or photographic work online.

To promote your work we let you insert your related blog or website links in the articles which you submit. You also get links to your site(s) in the Author Bio at the bottom of the page, regardless of the content. No HTML knowledge required. Just provide the content and links, and we'll do the rest.

If you're in it for the money, (and who isn't these days) we link photos to your Zazzle Account so you can make money on merchandise sales. This is a great avenue to sell your travel photographs and get your work into the hands of people who appreciate travel photography.

After you become a trusted writer/photographer we offer more incentive ($$$$) to write for Travel Droppings, with contributor payments made via PayPal.
